About Us

Azanza Health was founded with a clear and urgent purpose: to make
high-quality healthcare more accessible, affordable, and responsive to
the needs of African communities.

Our journey began in 2020 at Parirenyatwa Hospital, where we
focused on improving access to cardiovascular diagnostics. At the
time, essential services such as echocardiograms were out of reach
for many limited by high costs, long waiting times, and a critical
shortage of specialists. Patients were often forced to travel long
distances or go without diagnosis altogether. We saw this gap
firsthand and built a solution designed to bring specialist care closer
to the patient.

Inspired by the resilience of the Azanza fruit tree known for its ability
to endure and thrive in challenging environments, we laid our
foundation on the principles of strength, adaptability, and service.
As we worked closely with patients, clinicians, and healthcare
institutions, one thing became clear: the need extended far beyond
cardiology. Communities required broader, integrated access to
diagnostic and medical services delivered with the same level of
quality and efficiency. In response, Azanza Health evolved.

Today, we have grown into an integrated healthcare services provider
offering a comprehensive range of solutions, including cardiology,
radiology (X-ray and CT scan), ultrasound (USS), audiology, general
medical practice, and occupational health services. This expansion
has been driven not by ambition alone, but by a continuous
commitment to solving real healthcare challenges faced by the
populations we serve.

Our footprint has expanded into a growing network of branches
across Harare and into other provinces, allowing us to decentralize
access to essential healthcare services. By bringing advanced
diagnostic capabilities closer to communities, we reduce delays in
diagnosis, improve patient outcomes, and ease the burden on
centralised healthcare institutions.

At the core of our model is the integration of technology and human
expertise. Through our digital health platform, we enable diagnostic
tests conducted at local facilities to be reviewed by experienced
specialists remotely. This approach not only addresses the shortage of
specialists but also ensures consistency, accuracy, and speed in
clinical decision-making.

We have built strong collaborations with both local and international
medical professionals, combining global expertise with deep local
understanding. At the same time, we invest in training and
empowering nurses, radiographers, and general practitioners
ensuring that quality care is delivered at every touchpoint of the
patient journey.

Since our founding, we have served thousands of patients,
significantly reduced the cost of critical diagnostic services, and
continuously expanded both our service offering and geographic reach.
Each step of our growth reflects our resilience, our adaptability,
and our unwavering focus on impact.
